These weavings are from Nagaland in North East India. Nagaland is a mountainous state bordered by the Indian state of Assam and the country of Myanmar.  It is home to 16 hill tribes who weave their distinctive patterns and motifs on back-strap looms.  These are contemporary tribal weavings.

Fibre: 100% Cotton.

Size is approx.  82" x 14" (208cm x 36cm).

Process:  Handwoven on a back-strap loom by village artisans in Nagaland, India.

Feature: This piece is reversible.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Roll in a towel and lay flat to dry.
