Market Bag - Handwoven Cotton - Indigo & Black Embroidery

Pack up your project bag. This generously sized tote is perfect for your everyday haul or to carry along your treasured supplies for a project.

Sewn from striking artisan cloth; handspun, thread-dyed, handwoven and hand stitched. Natural indigo dyed yarns are woven into cloth, then passed to another community of artisans to be stitched upon with a running kantha stitch. The resulting cloth begs adoration and celebration of the craft and the skill of the artisans behind it.

Fibre: 100% cotton.

Process: 

• Handspun and handwoven.
• Naturally dyed with indigo.
• Kantha running stitch done by hand.

Size is Approx.:  26" x 21"  (66cm x 53 cm), straps are 14" long - great for wearing on your shoulder. Inside pocket is 8" x 8" (20 cm x 20cm).

Note: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour to rub off on your skin or other clothing for the first part of this bags life. Gentle hand wash separately with cool water and a mild, neutral pH soap, hang to dry.
