Set of 3 medium bell sizes. Great for stringing together and making wind chimes.

1 x #9 bell: size approximately 6" x 3.5"

1 x #11 bell: size approximately 7" x 4.75"

1 x #12 bell: size approximately 9" x 6"

Hand-forged bell made by the artisan bell makers of the Kachchh desert. Steel, finished with a brass-copper patina.

Forged with simple hand tools. Fired in a kiln. Individually tuned until the bell maker is satisfied that the tone is clear and true. Each bell is different.

A rustic amalgam finish of copper and brass is added during the final stage of bell making. The bell is coated in a mixture of powdered metal and flux and then wrapped in a clay envelope and fired in a small kiln. This process results in a naturally uneven patina which defines the character of the bell.
