Bengal Handstitched Indigo Quilt - Ocean Tide

An exceptional handstitched quilt to adorn a special spot in your home. Made of artisan cloth - where threads first were dyed in natural fermentation indigo vats, then handwoven by skilled weavers.  Finally, each piece has been quilted together and handstitched in Sundarbans, India. Each piece is unique and has a story to tell. 

Fibre: 100% Cotton

Process:

• Thread-dyed with organic indigo vats and handwoven.
• Quilted and handstitched.

Note on Indigo Colour: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour rub off with your new textiles. We recommend washing separately.

Care Instructions: Your bedding can be hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes you must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry in the shade. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
