Dyeable Silk Scrunchie - Large Lush

A dyeable scrunchie made from hand reeled and handwoven mulberry silk. The stunning natural lustre of this fibre comes to life when coloured with natural dyes. Silk has a luxurious drape and feel that is unlike anything else.

We work with two beautiful weights of mulberry silk. Our classic silk is lighter with a slightly more transparent quality, giving it an airy, ethereal feel. The second, which we call lush, is a tighter weave - it shares the same soft hand and fluid drape, but offers more opacity, providing a bit more coverage while maintaining the same elegant movement and comfort.

Sewn with cotton sewing thread. These scrunchies are beautiful as is or they can be naturally dyed, eco printed, embellished and personalized.

Scouring: If you plan to dye your scrunchie, don't forget to scour first. Check our detailed instructions on scouring protein fibres here. 

Care Instructions: Your fabric can be gently hand washed with cool water. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and hang to dry.

If you dye your scrunchie with natural dyes - please be sure to protect the natural dyes by using a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours.
