Botanical Coat - Handwoven Kala Cotton - Peppercorn

A Maiwa classic that you'll reach for over and over again! Sewn from exquisite artisan cloth; thread dyed with natural dyes, handwoven and handstitched by village artisans in India.

Made with our favourite Kala cotton which is indigenous to Kachchh, India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

Model: Sophena is 5’5” bust: 36", waist: 30", hip: 41".

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry.

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
