Market Bag - Quilted Cotton - Tangerine

A generous sized tote made from a kantha quilt! Perfect to bring along on a trip or to carry your treasured supplies for a project. 

Kantha quilts are made for household use in rural parts of Bengal and Bangladesh. Favourite prints, saris, and beloved lengths of cloth are stitched together with plain and coloured threads. Every quilter has her own individual style, and we love the history and stories each one holds.

Note: This bag is made from a one of a kind, hand stitched medium weight vintage quilt. Variegations and imperfections are a part of its charm and are to be celebrated.

Fibre: 100% cotton - made from a kantha quilt. 

Size is approx.  18" x 20" x 7", handle drop 13". Inside pocket is 8" x 8".

Care Instructions: Your textile can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
