Malabar Tank - Silk Block Print - Twilight

Part of the beauty of Ajrakh lies in the hand of the maker. Each block is carefully placed by the artisan, creating subtle variations that reflect the skill and character of the block printer. These natural irregularities are part of the printing process and are meant to be celebrated. Hand reeled and handwoven from mulberry silk, the fabric has a natural lustre that is enhanced by natural dyes. Silk has a soft hand and luxurious drape that brings depth to this traditional block printed cloth.

 A note on fit:

• Classic fit 
  

Small: up to 36” around at bust / length approx. 22” - straps are adjustable (size 2-6)

Medium: up to 38” around at bust / length approx. 23” - straps are adjustable (size 6-8)

Large: up to 42” around at bust / length approx. 24” - straps are adjustable (size 10-14)

Model: Chloe is 5’5” bust: 42”, waist: 35”, Hip: 45” wearing a size medium

Care Instructions: Hand wash only in cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and hang to dry. 

Some natural dyes are sensitive to citrus.

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
