Made for long summer days, this dress has an effortless shape that is both comfortable and flattering. A gentle V-neckline, lower back, and gusseted sides create a relaxed fit with beautiful drape. Easy to slip on and wear from morning to evening.
Part of the beauty of Ajrakh lies in the hand of the maker. Each block is carefully placed by the artisan, creating subtle variations that reflect the skill and character of the block printer. These natural irregularities are part of the printing process and are meant to be celebrated. Hand reeled and handwoven from mulberry silk, the fabric has a natural lustre that is enhanced by natural dyes. Silk has a soft hand and luxurious drape that brings depth to this traditional block printed cloth.
