An easy short sleeve dress with collar and shell buttons that is easy to wear and layers perfectly underneath the Chandigar Coat.

Sewn from beautiful artisan cloth; handspun, thread-dyed with natural dyes, and handwoven. By dyeing the threads before weaving, there is an added depth and variance to the colour that celebrates the handcraft of the dyers and weavers who created it. 

 Details:

  • 100% cotton.
  • Handspun & handwoven.
  • Thread-dyed with natural indigo.
  • 2 mother of pearl buttons below the collar.
  • Side slit pockets at the hip.
  • Flat felled seams.
  • Sewn at the Maiwa Studio in India.

A Note on Fit:

  • Relaxed fit.

 

Small:  Bust up to 40" / length 42" measured from shoulder seam to hem.

Medium:  Bust up to 44" / length 43" measured from shoulder seam to hem.

Large:  Bust up to 50" / length 44" measured from shoulder seam to hem.

Model: Sophia is 5’11” bust: 36”, waist: 28”, hip: 40” wearing a size medium.

 

    Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat. 

    Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

    - Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash

    Note: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour to rub off on your skin or other clothing for the first part of this garments life.
