Ahilya Tank Reversible - Organic Cotton - Starry Night & Halo
Two tanks in one! A reversible block printed tank top that can change an outfit immediately depending on which print you choose to wear out. This tank features a wide shoulder and a feminine, rounded neckline.
Part of the beauty of Ajrakh cloth lies in the fact that each block is placed by the artisan’s hand - what is left behind is an imprint of the personality and character of the block printer. Slight variegations are to be celebrated.
Details:
- 100% organic cotton - light to medium weight.
- Hand block printed and naturally dyed black - warm undertone.
- Reversible - features a different pattern inside and out.
- French seams.
- Sewn at the Maiwa Studio in India.
- Worn with the Ahilya Jacket & Pondicherry Pant.
A Note on Fit:
- two layers of woven cloth, no stretch.
- fits a little on the smaller side.
Small: Bust up to 38” / length 19.5” from shoulder seam to hem.
Medium: Bust up to 42” / length 20.5” from shoulder seam to hem.
Large: Bust up to 46” / length 22” from shoulder seam to hem.
Model Ja is 5' 7" bust: 32", waist: 29", hip: 35" wearing a size small.
Model Sacha is 5' 11" bust: 33", waist: 29", hip: 39" wearing a size medium.
Care Instructions: Your fabric can be gently machine or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat.
Some natural dyes are sensitive to citrus.
Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
