Juniper Top - Kala Cotton - Indigo Picnic

A graceful top with a soft structure. Gathers in the front and back shoulder creates a beautiful silhouette, paired with a front tie closure allows for an adjustable fit. Soft flounce at the hip adds movement and a touch of romance. 

Made with beautiful handwoven kala cotton cloth. Kala cotton is indigenous to the Kachchh region of India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

Note: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour to rub off on your skin or other clothing for the first part of this garments life.  

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry.

Some natural dyes are sensitive to citrus.

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
