The natural hues of the handspun wild silk dance beautifully across the shawl. A perfect combination of wool and silk to keep you cozy and warm.
Embroidery is an integral part of Kachchhi Rabari life. The stitchwork combines mirrors of many shapes: squares, triangles, diamonds, rectangles and circles. This unusual play with shaped mirrors is unique to Rabari embroidery.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water. To protect the natural fabric we recommend using a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.

Maiwa works with embroiderers through many co-operative structures within India. The women embroider, design, market, and innovate as entrepreneur artisans. The goal is financial self-determination and empowerment through education and a clear sense of the value of their work.
