Studio Shirt - Handwoven Kala Cotton - Ivory

Inspired by great artist jackets of the past, this heavyweight cotton shirt layers beautifully and can be worn as a jacket too. We love this piece for the long creative hours spent in the studio and for pretty much everything else that has us rolling up our sleeves to get the job done! Two sets of pockets to keep all your supplies and necessities close. Designed for all genders. 

Made with beautiful handwoven kala cotton cloth. Kala cotton is indigenous to the Kachchh region of India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
