Balotra Dress - Handwoven Kala Cotton - Bohème

A long sleeve tunic dress with a soft, effortless silhouette accentuating the beautiful drape of kala cotton. This piece can be worn on its own or layered over top of a pant or skirt. 

Made with beautiful handwoven kala cotton cloth. Kala cotton is indigenous to the Kachchh region of India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

A note on fit:

• Soft, easy fit

Small:  Bust up to 45” / hip up to 50” / length 43"  measured from shoulder seam to hem at back.

Medium: Bust up to 48” / hip up to 53” / length 44" measured from shoulder seam to hem at back. 

Large: Bust up to 50” / hip up to 55” / length 45" measured from shoulder seam to hem at back.

Model: Sophena is 5’5” bust: 36", waist: 30", hip: 41" wearing a size small.  

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
