Malkha cloth represents a different way of making textiles. Created through a network of cotton farmers, spinners, and handweavers in South India, the fabric is the result of a production system where every stage is connected.

The yarn is developed specifically for handloom weaving, allowing the cloth to retain a lively texture and supple hand. Rather than striving for uniformity, Malkha embraces the qualities of cotton and the subtle variations that come from human hands.

The result is a cloth with remarkable depth and character—one that reflects not only the skill of its makers, but also a commitment to regional livelihoods, sustainable production, and the enduring beauty of handwoven cotton. Care Instructions: Hand wash only in cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and hang to dry.

Some natural dyes are sensitive to citrus.

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
