Manali Shirt - Handwoven Kala Cotton - Ivory

The Manali shirt is a classic button up with a shorter profile. We love this style for all its thoughtful details - accentuated buttoned cuff, traditional hem triangle at the sides, bust darts, and rounded collar. An easy to wear piece with a soft fit that you will reach for again and again.

Made with beautiful handwoven kala cotton cloth. Kala cotton is indigenous to the Kachchh region of India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

A Note on Fit:

• Smaller fit compared to our other button ups.

Small: bust up to 48” / length 23" from shoulder seam to hem. 

Medium: bust up to 52” / length 25" from shoulder seam to hem. 

Large: bust up to 54” / length 26" from shoulder seam to hem. 

Model: Alexis is 5’7” bust: 34", waist: 26", hip: 33" wearing a size small.

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
