Mala Skirt - Handwoven Kala Cotton - Natural with Stripe

Simple and feminine - this skirt is the perfect length for everyday wear and for travelling.  Sweet gathered paper-bag waist with comfortable elastic. Of course we put pockets in this skirt! Looks great as a high-waisted look with your top tucked in. 

Made with beautiful handspun and handwoven kala cotton cloth. Kala cotton is indigenous to the Kachchh region of India. It is highly sustainable and organic by nature, as farmers do not need to use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. All it needs to thrive is one monsoon a year. The final product is a desirable cotton with a natural fleck that softens with every wash.

A Note on Fit:

• Wide elastic gives a structured waist, with ease and comfort
  

Small:  27-30" at the waist / length 33"

Medium: 30-34" at the waist / length 34"

Large: 34-44" at the waist / length 36"

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry.

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
