Pondicherry Pant - Kantha Stitched - Indigo & Black

A versatile and fun wide leg pant that pulls in at a slightly cropped hem. 

Sewn from striking artisan cloth; handspun, thread-dyed, handwoven and hand stitched. Natural indigo dyed yarns are woven into cloth with a slight texture in the warp and weft, then passed to another community of artisans to be stitched upon with a running kantha stitch. The resulting cloth begs adoration and celebration of the craft and the skill of the artisans behind it.

A Note on Fit:

• Comfortable and roomy fit.

Small: waist 27-32" / hip up to 48" / length 36".

Medium: waist 29-34" / hip up to 50" / length 38".

Large: waist* 32-42" / hip up to 54" / length 40".

*waist measures 48" when elastic fully stretched out.

Note: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect a small amount of colour to rub off on your skin or other clothing for the first part of this garments life. 

Care Instructions: Your fabric can be gently machine or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours.  Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
