Neem Dress - Naturally Dyed Linen - Rust Bandhani

The Neem dress is an everyday sleeveless dress that we absolutely love. This design has been in our company for many years and is a Maiwa must have.  It has adjustable straps and a soft, rounded neckline that is same in the front and back.  Draping beautifully at a full length, this dress has deep vents that keep it practical for moving around in. One of our favourite things about this piece is the way the magic of bandhani tied dots come alive on the linen.

The name “bandhani” derives from the Sanskrit term meaning “to tie.” Hand tied resist is a traditional technique that has been practiced in India for centuries.

 A Note on Fit:

• Straight cut design.

Small: bust up to 40” / hip up to 48" / length approx. 54” - straps are adjustable.

Medium: bust up to 42” / hip up to 52" / length approx. 54” - straps are adjustable.

Large: bust up to 46” / hip up to 56" / length approx. 56” - straps are adjustable.

Model: Lauren is 5’10” bust 34”, waist 28”, hip: 36” wearing a size small.

Care Instructions: Your garment can be gently machined or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes and natural fabric you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours.  Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
