Calico Dress - Organic Cotton Block Print - Indigo Bhuti
This free spirited design is sewn out of soft organic cotton with sweet gather on each tier to give ultimate flow. The perfect everyday dress that feels so good on the body - with lots of room to dance, run and twirl in. There are two pockets at the sides for keeping the necessities close.
Part of the beauty of Dabu cloth lies in the fact that each block is placed by the artisan’s hand - what is left behind is an imprint of the personality and character of the block printer. Slight variegations are to be celebrated.

- 100% organic cotton - medium weight.
- Hand block printed with natural indigo.
- Side slit pockets.
- Sewn at the Maiwa Studio in India.
A Note on Fit:
- Flowing, generous fit in body.
Small: Bust up to 42” / length 47” from shoulder seam to hem.
Medium: Bust up to 44” / length 48” from shoulder seam to hem.
Large: Bust up to 46” / length 49” from shoulder seam to hem.
Model: Chloe is 5’8” bust: 38”, waist: 32”, Hip: 42” wearing a size small.
Note: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour to rub off on your skin or other clothing for the first part of this garments life.
Care Instructions: Your fabric can be gently machine or hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes you absolutely must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat.
Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
