Sindh Quilt - Handstitched - Luminous

$1,100.00
This is an extraordinary hand stitched quilt from Sindh, Pakistan. Each small stitch builds a story that is beautiful on both sides of the textile. Made by the Saami Faquir community, this style of embroidery is unique to them.

These quilts have a long tradition in this area and even as far as Rajasthan, Gujarat and the Punjab in India.  Before the India Pakistan border this area was culturally unified.
