Maiwa has worked with block printed fabric for over 30 years. The cloth has been hand block printed by skilled "Dabu" block printers in Rajasthan, India. Light to medium weight fabric is perfect for garments and quilting.

The technique used in this cloth is a mud-resist known as “Dabu”. The character of Dabu and the wooden blocks used to apply it, go together to create the distinctive patterns known as “Dabu” prints.
